''The Evaluation of the Summer Youth Ordination Project Conducted in the Year 2007 Ubonratchathani Province''

Abstract

 

               The  purposes  of this research work were to evaluative study of the  summer youth Ordination project conducted in the year 2007, Ubonratchathani province included with main 4 factors; the surrounding Factors, the Input factors, process factors, and outcome factors, and to study the problem state and obstructers and how to solve the problem faced by the project.  There were 400 samples that used  to data collecting were 200 personals of the project (Chef leaders and trainers) and 200  youths.  The tools used for data analysis were; the Questionnaires, the Interviews, the Rating scale at 3 levels.  The statistic tools used for data analysis were; percentage and mean and  and S.D.

                 The research results were as follows ;

                     1.  The evaluation’s results about the summer youth-Ordination project that  conducted by Ubonratchathani centers. Surrounding  factors.

                     2.  The surrounding  factors’ suitability was seen at most as;  the asking for the  sample’s needs before taking the project place  in the areas,  to design the project’s more specific  and  Clare purposes and objections.

                     3.  The input factor’s suitability was seen at most as;  the project’s location and training places were of pleasure, opened-airs, wider areas and location, in narrowed, disnoisy, and  the subject-matter of suitable information, broadcasting,  and Clare understanding of the  project.

                     4.  The process factor’s suitability was seen at most as; the trainer- administration by team-work, the committees and trainer’s precipitation on meeting  for Clare understanding about the project, to study community’s information and needs,  the  trainers having suitable knowledge, understanding and experiences for the youth  training .

                     5.  The outcome factor’s suitability was seen at most as;  the project  was  valuable and advantages to promote more value and moral development of  the youths,  when the next project will come, they expected to become a novice hood again, they  need the project be continued, while the youth shown their ability to do the ritual and  religions activities  they could practice on right  way with confidence. 

                     6.  The situation and environmental suitability about the project  was seen  at most as; there are a viable the suitable buildings and rooms for the personals resting and for the youths and including the offering the sufficient lunch and  jounce  waters  for  the novice in  the  evening.

                     7.  The curriculum and the subject matters used  to  train  the  youths  were to; the Buddha history, morality, ritual and religions activities, The subjects like Thai  manner and cultures meditation and concentration and the practical subjects that used  to train  the  youth ’s mind.

                     8.  The financial sources were seen at most as; the donation given by Tambol administrative sectors, by MCU.  by  the public and  by the project  owners.

                     9.  The training techniques and methods that used to train the youths  were  seen at most as; training handbooks, training subject matters, t.v. training documents,  and Buddha history facture, computer, documents, radio and painting .

                     10.  The ex-activities that used to train the youth’s mind seen at most as;  play and chanting in the morning and evening, disciplined activity walking for arm foods,  the site seeing in another places, the hold day puchã

            11.  The evaluative methods used to train the youths as; seen at most as;  the evaluative methods used by the objective and subjective types of Questions, the  both  intelligent  and  mental  measurement and with the varies types of evaluation
